Bedford i-lab being Funny for Money!

Bedford i-lab raises over £550 for Comic Relief!

Not wishing to let an opportunity for a bit of light relief for a good cause go by the staff and i-nhabitants of Bedford i-lab pushed the boat out and joined in with the spirit of Red Nose Day.

Staff, Shaun, Tracy, Keith & Syreeta took the roles of Austin Powers, Saucy Pirate, Jacques Cousteau and Woody from Toy Story's sister for the day and left all dignity at home - this raised nearly £400 alone.

Other contributions included:-

  • coffee costing 20p (normally free) which raised another £64

  • Sale of special Red Nose cookies baked by Tony's wife from ARK CLS - £37

  • Red Nose sales donated by Ilse from SEEE - £30

  • Austin Powers Connect 4 challenge - Austin won 16-3 - yeah baby!

  • ..and finally ARK's loose change tub produced a further £12!
