Entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas have until Friday 25 April 2008 to apply for a share in EEDA's Spring round of the Proof of Concept fund.
The fund enables entrepreneurial businesses and academics to define the market for their innovative products, processes or services.
The Proof of Concept scheme has supported projects ranging from nanotechnology fingerprinting techniques to anti-plagiarism software for universities. Grants of between £5,000 and £40,000 are available.
